PORTRAIT COMMISSIONS

I accept a limited number of portrait commissions throughout the year. Each work is created with careful attention to observation, tone, and character, using either oil paint, charcoal or graphite depending on the nature of the image and intended outcome.

These works are developed with the same technical and material standards as my studio practice.

To inquire about a portrait commission please send a request through the Commission Form, or via email with:

  • -A short description of your request
  • -Reference photographs
  • -Preferred size and medium

What I Offer

Portraits based on photographic reference

  • -Single subject
  • -Head-and-shoulders or simplified compositions
  • -Created in either oil paint on canvas or graphite/charcoal on paper

Portrait Commissions are limited each month to ensure consistency with my studio practice.

Each portrait is made with a strong emphasis on likeness, tonal structure, and atmospheric sensitivity.

Mediums

Oil Painting

  • Oil portraits are painted on gallery-wrapped fine linen canvas using only archival artist-grade materials.
