ABOUT
Clarissa Bañez is a Filipino oil painter and printmaker based in Prague. Her work moves between realism and abstraction, exploring the tension between control and surrender, discipline and softness. Grounded in close observation and traditional, archival processes, her practice reflects on home, belonging, and the emotional weight of domestic spaces. Across painting and relief printmaking, she creates quiet, handcrafted images intended to live in everyday homes—offering moments of stillness, reflection, and presence.
